Ok, no snappy theme song related entries today - I'm too tired to do that.;)  It's rainy and muggy here, which is giving me a HUGE Afro.  Though the wonderful thing about finally embracing my fuzzy hair is that I don't mind so much, and just use product to help me out - which works fantastically.

Last night was nice - the husband and I spent a lot of time playing Rock Band, and I'm starting to kick some butt on the guitar.  I have to admit it feels kind of cool to do that, and impress my husband.  He's quite proud of my console guitar skills!  But I'm proud of him, too - and he's been so inspired by the game that he's actually buying the real thing, a Gretsch guitar that should come in at the end of the month.  And I know he's going to dedicate the time to become an awesome guitarist, so I'm looking forward to it.

Entertainment-wise, I STILL haven't seen Iron Man yet, slacker that I am.  I really want to check it out, since I've heard nothing but rave reviews, and I have to confess I'm rooting for Robert Downey, Jr.'s comeback.  It would be nice if he finally kicks his demons and has a career resurgence.  What can I say?  I'm a sucker for a redemption story.:D 

Now I KNOW I'll see Indy 4 sometime soon, at least I hope to.  I've always loved Indiana Jones, and if you ask me, Marion Ravenwood IS the woman for him.  She's the only one who's able to keep up with him, you know.  All the other ladies just can't handle Indy like she can.:)

Hrm... since I'm on an Indy kick here, I'll end with a quote from everyone's favorite archaelogist:  It's not the years, it's the mileage.  Truer words, Professor Jones, truer words...
